Solutions will be scored by a panel of experts according to the evaluation criteria. Top-scoring solutions will earn critical opportunities to interact with federal agencies.
Up to 15 entrants with the highest scores
Up to 15 entrants with the highest scores will receive introductions to agencies interested in their solutions at the Permitting Innovators Expo. These one-on-one conversations will allow entrants to demo their solutions, answer questions, and explore pathways to federal procurement.
Up to 50 of the top-scoring solutions
Up to 50 of the top-scoring solutions will be invited to showcase their solutions at the Permitting Innovators Expo, hosted in July 2026 in Washington, D.C. Each solution will have a dedicated space to demo their solution to federal agencies, influential leaders in environmental review and permitting, policymakers, and other practitioners.
Qualifying submissions
Qualifying solutions will be featured in the Permitting Innovators Solutions Catalog, a curated resource circulated directly to federal agencies implementing the Permitting Technology Action Plan.
